DCM1500 - 1500W Power Amp Pristine sound, brute power and no-fault reliability make the DCM amps the power amp of choice for professionals. Designed for continuous operation, overheating is not a problem, especially down at 2 ohms where other amps simply quit. Drive up to four 8 ohm subwoofers per channel and never worry about a shutdown! Mechanically the DCM's are superior to the imports that are so prevalent today. Each DCM is hand built at our San Diego factory featuring all steel construction, recessed controls and heavy-duty power components. Soft-start relays gently turn the DCM's on so when you plug into a 15 amp breaker it won't trip. The DCM is the only amp that offers the connectivity of 1/4 TRS & XLR inputs along with 1/4", binding post and Neutrik Speakon* outputs on most models. CONTINUOUS RMS RATED-MORE BASS POWER In today’s world, many amps are rated in “pulse power”, not true RMS, lacking bass output as shown in Figure 1. Note that these amps lack the reserve current to faithfully reproduce the 2nd kick. Every DCM incorporates massive toroid power supplies and huge filter capacitors assuring full continuous RMS so every kick is heard.
